New generation of directors at the Simba Dickie Group

Founded in 1982 as “Simba Toys” with five employees, the international toy firm Simba Dickie Group entered its third generation in 2021 when Florian Sieber took over as CEO from his father Michael Sieber. The new generation of leaders is now set to welcome a new member with the appointment of Moritz Duschl to the senior management team.

On 1 May 2024, Moritz Duschl (36) becomes CFO of the Simba Dickie Group. His father Manfred Duschl (69), who has been working for the company since 1989 and is responsible for managing the Group’s finances, handed over his position to his son. Over the next 12 months, Manfred Duschl will gradually withdraw from day-to-day business and management.

Moritz Duschl is looking forward to the challenges of his new role: “Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the opportunity to prepare thoroughly for my new role, which I am very grateful for. By working closely with the Board of the Simba Dickie Group, I have been able to benefit from their extensive experience, and I am looking forward to continuing my father’s successful work while also contributing new ideas.”

The Group Board will therefore consist of Florian Sieber, Uwe Weiler, and Manfred and Moritz Duschl.
